People are giving Wilson money to thank him for killing an unarmed black teenager. Please report this to GoFundMe, as it violates their Terms of Service and they get 5% of the tens of thousands of dollars being donated. Click to report.
This is my message, in case you want to copy and paste:
Your Terms of Service prohibit “items that promote… hate, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime.” Take a look at the comments that come with the donations on this page and tell me that doesn’t violate your terms. “Support Officer Wilson” is a thin veil for people rewarding Wilson for killing a black kid.

DANE: In some ways, there’s no better way of getting to know someone personally than by making a film like this… You can learn a lot about a person from working with them, and how they work, and the conversations that come up because of what you’re working on. So in many ways, as we were working, we were still also getting to know each other as people.

DAN: It’s just that great thing of when you actually meet someone for the first time and you talk about the way you want to work, and you are open with each other… Because when you sign up [for a movie], you don’t have to sign up to, like, get to know somebody and being really open with them about stuff. But when you work with people who are willing to do that and go there with you then it really can be a very bonding thing as well good for the job.

it actually is illegal. officers are required to wear their name tags for accountability purposes.
if a cashier can be penalized for being on the clock without a name tag, so can an officer. the biggest fucked up part about it is that you can’t even report it to their superiors because their superiors probably told them to remove their tags.

They are doing everything, everything, that they are not supposed to do. Purposefully breaking the very law they’re supposed to be upholding.

And the peacefully protesting citizens of Ferguson are being portrayed as the criminals, right? While they import outside agitators into Ferguson and call the lawful people of Ferguson animals, right?
